Project is implemented in Podari, Dolj County, SW of Oltenia, No. 1 Principala Street.
The goals of the project:
The development of a research base for natural compounds of boron that opens the way of a competitive collaboration with university and research bases from our country and abroad, and to improve the nutrition methods for people, animals and plants.
The research base will bring its contribution to the increase of the fundamental research level from the SW part of Oltenia and it is focused to encourage the formation of specialists with theoretical and practical training of high value.
In the same time, the project is aimed to prepare the material base and specialists for their participation to research programs launched by national organizations or by European Union, being very attractive for a great number of students, resident doctors, professors and independent researches in the fundamental research activity from the field of nutrition applications of boron.
The project is directed on the global research line regarding the nutritional role of boron in the food chain plant-animal-men, ensuring the scientific methods for monitoring the impact of this essential microelement on the health state for people, animals and plants.
The project ensures a national and European research base regarding the nutritional role of boron with major effects in agriculture, horticulture, animal and human nutrition. The research base, being focused on only one extremely important essential microelement, could offer scientific data regarding the boron deficiency impact especially on men's health state, but also on plants and animals.
The project activities:
- Contracting and reception of the service for preparing the technical project for building planning in GMP conditions.
- Execution of services for building planning in GMP conditions; the reception of the planning execution services.
- Acquisition of research-development equipments, their installation, functioning, devices maintenance and personal instruction for the research base laboratories.

The predicted results:
The research base will ensure the development of several technologies for the obtaining of some boron natural compounds for their usage in agriculture, zootechnics and human medicine, with the desired goal to ameliorate the boron deficiency from soil and water.
The research base will create a scientific support in order to attract researchers from the South-West region of Romania, ensuring a proper collaboration place with research institutes of superior educational level from this part.
For this reason, Natural Research Ltd. has planed, according to GMP standard conditions, and equipped, with specific research devices, a building from its possession.
Following the planning services realized within this project, the Research Base for Organic Natural Compounds of Boron has seven laboratories:
- Biotechnologies laboratory;
- Storage and samples preparation laboratory;
- Cellular cultures laboratory;
- Samples preparation for physico-chemical analysis laboratory;
- IC-ICP-MS laboratory for boron and other elements detection;
- Gas chromatography laboratory;
- Pilot products laboratory.
The infrastructure created by this way will contribute to the increase of the performance in research for Natural Research LTd., leading to the improvement of the transboundary and international collaboration of it with well-known research bases from Europe and from World.
The main results obtained after the project implementation will be listed here:
- Identification of new boron compounds - natural extracts from the cellular wall of plants;
- Identification of new anti-oxidant compounds - resulted from the mixing of boron natural compounds and other natural compounds (for example Resveratrol + Calcium Fructoborate);
- Researches for deficiency bond between boron and 3-omega;
- Improvement of the Natural Research Ltd. research activity by establishing international partnerships in health and medicines field.
